Website. Here you will find info about us and our servers as well as links to
all the kewl stuff! We are a friendly bunch, with a reputation for having
the best sportsmanship attitude of all Freeze Tag clans. While we are
primarily a freeze tag clan we are also creeping our way into other mods
like CTF, OSP, and others. We have members from almost every age group,
and almost every skill level. We are focused on regular scheduled
practices, fair play, skills enhancements, configuration optimizations and
most of all - 100% pure adrenaline filled fun.

I got word yesterday that Pre has a bad knee and is probably going to require surgery.. That would be reason why we have not seen her around.. Lets keep her in our thoughts, maybe the good vibes from us will help her get better fast. Get Well Soon, Pre!

With the onset of nicer weather my thoughts turn toward getting outside and getting yard work done so I can do other more fun things with family and friends. Fly fishing and target archery are my passions along with Quake3 and dividing my time can be tough at times. So I totally understand missing a practice here and there to maintain a level of sanity. So go out and enjoy the world we live in and don't worry Quake will be waiting for you when you get back.

A year has come and gone and so much has happened that it can't be said in one news item. But I am very glad to have been involved with the clan over the last year and hope to continue my role in the clan in the year 2006. All the people in the clan make me proud to be a member of SS* and I hope next year will be even better.

Just a note : My grandfather has finally passed on, 7:30am this morning. As a result, I most likely will not be around till after Christmas. I will be around occassionally, but mostly I will be spending time with my dad.. I wish everyone & your families a Happy Merry Christmas.

With the release of Quake4, Clan Sharpshooter is researching our participation in online competition. My initial take on the game is we will want to play and compete in Quake4. However, I also see us continueing with Quake3 and UFT for sometime to come. So those that may fear a total switch over, don't worry it is not gonna happen, at least not until Quake3 and UFT is totally dead.
With that said, everyone needs to be aware that practice as we have known it for the last 5 years may and will change, and there will be some shuffling of the staff to ensure coverage for both Quake3 and Quake4. One change which at this point is required and that is a merge of the UFT ladder teams to one the OGL. For administration purposes we will retain our RED/BLUE team assignments for now. This will allow us to easily field players for the OGL, and with the small amount of teams on the ladder at th.... [ Read more.. ]

Thank you Shady,Wing, and the rest of my friends of the q3 community for your care and concern. I did get the emails you all sent. Thank you. It's great to be back!!
Today is the first day since Hurricane Katrina that I have my internet connection and my cable tv restored. Not only did my parents lose their home from the storm, my Uncle did as well. Now they are all living with me and my family. While my mother was fortunate enough to be able to salvage a few trinkets of memory and importance, my Uncle was unable to save anything. The water rose up above the roof.
While sections of the Slidell Parish were hit hard, as is the case with my Parents and Uncle, some areas did very well. While I'm just a mere mile from their houses, we had no standing water. Though, of course, there were so many trees down, no roads were passable. Driving through the area was a shock in the days .... [ Read more.. ]

I watched the video from last year's event and it's good to see some of the faces that go with the names. It's really good that you guys do this sort of thing. Beyond the fun of the game, it's a good way to build friendships that will last long after your sick of Quake (if that's possible). :D -Shmoopy

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- The owners of the other contestants in this year's World's Ugliest Dog Contest may have thought their pooches had a chance _ until they saw Sam.
The 14-year-old pedigreed Chinese crested recently won the Sonoma-Marin Fair contest for the third consecutive time, and it's no surprise.
The tiny dog has no hair, if you don't count the yellowish-white tuft erupting from his head. His wrinkled brown skin is covered with splotches, a line of warts marches down his snout, his blind eyes are an alien, milky white and a fleshy flap of skin hangs from his withered neck. And then there's the Austin Powers teeth that jut at odd angles from his mouth.
