Game Settings

Everyone has their own preferences on settings....but here are some of our suggestions -- SS**WingRdr..

Team & Graphics Related Settings

Crosshair	Personal choice...
Simple Items	If your system is less than 600mhz, you may want to turn this on, will improve FRAMERATE making video smoother.
Marks On Walls	Setting to OFF improves FRAMERATE on slower systems, but I prefer it ON, I like to know where the action has been :)
Ejecting Brass	I set to OFF, it does help a bit with FRAMERATE, but the reason I set it off is I can do without the distraction and obscured view.
Dynamic Lights	Personal Choice
Identify Target	Personal Choice, I prefer it ON, so am able to know enemy or foe, and can sometimes give you a heads up before attacker appear around corner
High Quality Sky	Setting to OFF will improve FRAMERATE on older systems, but I prefer ON....not so much for the pretty sky, but so I can see through PORTAL's.  If set OFF you can't.
Force Player Models	Personal Choice....This options will FORCE all player skins to SARGE.  Helpful if you have trouble with certain models like BONES or Anarki.  Due to animation on some characters you can have trouble anticipating moves.  Setting this allows you to know just one, SARGE.  (if any knows how to change it from SARGE, let me know please.)
Draw Team Overlay	Set this ON, Can select which corner of the screen to display.  This option will show you all team members location, health/armor status and weapon selected.
Auto Download	I suggest setting OFF.  Easy to connect to a server and corrupt a PK3 file.  Does however make it easier to get MAPS and MODS if server allows downloading.   I sometimes use this to get new members maps they may need from our server.
