IRC is Internet Chat Relay, and for those unfamiliar it is well established chatting protocol for the internet that allows multiple people to chat together like a Yahoo conference.

 If you dont have mIRC you can download it here. Also, you may wish to try TRILLIAN which is kinda kewl since it does all the MESSENGERS (AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ) AND IRC in one program.

Once you download and install it and run it. A mIRC Options box will appear.

In there, Click add (on the top right hand corner) For the Description type "Quake"
for IRC Server: type irc.enterthegame.com leave the rest alone and press Add
after that, type in your Full name, email address and nick name and click CONNECT TO IRC SERVER.

Once your logon on in the big windows with all that writeing type "/join #ss_clan" with out the " "

Now you are ready to chat! also other rooms you can join are :
